The GREATEST profession in the world and boringly referenced here by Wiki and ICSID where Art and Science meet for the positive progression of humanity.

Industrial Design is fundamental to the expansion of democratisation of the human race and society. Cavepeople artwork, fire and the wheel would never have been invented if it weren't for the basic Observation, Testing and Application of Industrial Design principles that improved their lives through comfort and communication. Sure tools like Hammers, Chisels, Vellum Paper and 3D CAD have helped along the way - but the essence remains the same.
Let's hope it doesn't take us another 20,000 years to evolve from here...
